Every Part of a Hologram...

I have sent my paper, which was in fact every bit the hot mess of experimentation with sound that I proposed.  While there is SOME content to it, it is primarily crafted to be heard.  For this reason, I sent along a link to this text to voice reader with the paper:  http://www.naturalreaders.com/

This also means the paper is a little shorter than it would otherwise have been.  There is a long, binary "sound poem" that acts as the fulcrum of the piece, and the reading software takes several minutes to get through it.  I targeted the time, rather than the page length, because I understand that is more critical to being a good conferee.

I actually like the binary sound poem best of all the sections of the piece.  I think the voice to text software falls into a sort of canting of the the ones and zeros, and that it forms a lovely, rhythmic flow.  I am least comfortable with not having been able to sync up the sound files to the voice to text software, and so not being able to stretch or speed up the text reading as necessary to make the sound file and the text recitation take the same amount of time.

Anyway... it should be in your inbox.
